food philosophy

inspiring people to eat foods that create thriving individuals & communities

A food philosophy outlines your beliefs & your ideas about food in your life & nurtures your relationship with food. Here's our food philosophy at Mind Your Fork:

Food is about love and abundance. Make it from scratch. Make it with love. Make it together. Know what I'm buying. Buy & eat local. Use organic ingredients. Plant power. Chew your food well. Eat mostly vegetables. Eat a variety of colors. Eat with the seasons. Eat alkalinizing foods. Drink lots of water.  Process by my hands. Share my food with my community.  What we put in our mouths is the fuel which powers our cells to run our metabolic processes on which our health depends.

Other food philosophies

Pensey's Spices   =   Love people. Cook them tasty food.

Michael Pollan's    =   eat food, not too much, mostly plants.

Meghan Telpner's   =   Make love in the kitchen.

There's a lot going on in our world today around food and much to consider when it comes to your own food philosophy. We help people navigate this journey with our Food Philosophy program which provides guided exploration into how YOU relate to what you eat and why, and how you eat. Curious? Check out:
